EU Shipping Has Been Resumed!!!

This has easily been the most stressful and frantic, career-based challenge I've been faced with in a very long time, but I have finally gotten all of the online "paperwork" sorted out so that I can legally and safely resume shipping my clothing products to countries within the EU!

HOORAY!!!

When I first heard about the new GPSR regulations it was literally the day before the law came into effect, I had no idea this was going to be a thing, and then just like that, literally overnight, I lost about a quarter of my customers. I was devastated, not only because times are tough and I need you guys' support in order to actually pay my bills, but because I'm well aware that many of you have been super loyal customers to me over the years and I cannot stand letting people down! But I couldn't see a way around it.

I had to stop sending my clothing to the EU because these new regulations ask the manufacturer to jump through a million hoops in order to ensure the products are safe for the consumer and that in the event of a problem, the customer is able to speak to a EU representative and that the goods (and any others made using the same materials) can easily be recalled by use of a unique serial number, as well as the inclusion of safety instructions, specific to the item, available in all EU languages.  That's a super simplified version of it, but when I first delved into learning about all of this, I was so overwhelmed I thought there's no way I'd ever ben able to meet all of these requirements. I'm just one person, I'm very easily overwhelmed and I have no staff or business partner to confer with, to share the burden. And I thought the amount of time and money it would demand of me would just be too great. I'm already stretched to my limits by creating everything by hand, entirely by myself, while juggling endless social media demands, the growing need to create more and more content, and a new website which has proven to be more work and stress than I ever could have imagined, considering I paid someone to build it for me....but that's another story. Honestly, I work from the moment I get up until the moment I go to bed as it is....

Anyway, pushed on by my partner (in life, not business), who is ever insistent that there's always a solution to any problem (eye roll), I began to chip away at the mountain of work ahead of me (to find what seemed like yet another mountain on the other side), but stubborn as ever once I have a goal in mind, I have pushed myself more than ever to get this done. And I'm not exaggerating.  During this period I also had carpal tunnel surgery and have been without use of my dominant hand, but with collections to be created, a website to fix and most prominently, this mammoth task of complying to GPSR regulations ahead of me, I literally took only 1 day off after having my hand cut open and then straight back to work I went to get this done! 

But here we are, finally, I am officially set up and good to ship to the EU once again :)
