Handmade Wrestling Gear Designed to Look Good and Take a Beating
I’ve been making custom women’s pro wrestling gear for several years now, and somewhere along the way My Little Halo started getting noticed by some pretty serious names in professional wrestling.
Today, I create custom wrestling outfits for performers working at the very highest levels of the sport, including stars of WWE and AEW. That means making gear that looks incredible under the lights and on TV plus, rather importantly, survives what happens once the bell rings.
Professional Wrestling Gear Has a Very Particular Job to Do
It has to stretch, bend and move with its owner. It needs to stay secure through the bumps, lifts, kicks, rolls and all the other things ordinary clothing quite reasonably wants nothing to do with. Of course, what it really needs to do is provide the right amount of coverage, keep everything where it should be and allow complete freedom of movement without constantly needing to be pulled, tucked or adjusted.
And after dealing with all of that, it still has to look amazing.
That balance between performance and appearance guides everything I make. My bespoke women’s wrestling gear is designed around the individual wrestler, their measurements, their character and the way they perform, rather than simply creating something that looks good hanging on a rail.
Of course, the fun stuff matters too.
Metallic fabrics, rhinestones, chains, rivets, lacing, studs, leopard print, flames and all the other slightly excessive details are a huge part of what I do. Custom made women’s wrestling attire isn't normal sportswear. It has to become part of a wrestler’s identity, to tell the audience something about their character before they’ve even stepped into the ring.
But underneath all that sparkle and hardware there has to be a properly constructed piece of performance clothing.
Stretch matters. Recovery matters. Secure straps matter. Adjustable sections matter. And the placement of hardware really matters when there's a reasonable chance somebody will shortly be landing on it.
Anyway, I’m incredibly proud that a growing number of performers on some of the biggest stages in the world now trust My Little Halo to make their women’s wrestling kits.
Here are a few of my latest custom commissions.
Custom Black, Turquoise & Silver Wrestling Gear for Maxxine Dupri
This four-piece custom set was created for WWE Superstar Maxxine Dupri and includes a bra, singlet, arm sleeves and matching leg sleeves.
The main colour is black, broken up with flashes of turquoise and darker metallic silver to give the outfit definition under the lights.
There was also an interesting little design problem with this one.
My Little Halo wrestling gear has traditionally involved a fairly enthusiastic relationship with chunky metal chains. For this set, WWE's current gear requirements meant those heavier chains are no longer an option.
So I had to figure out another way to get that metallic detail into the outfit.
The answer was lots and lots of tiny rhinestone chains, individually hand stitched into the design. It delivers the same kind of movement and sparkle without the weight and bulk of my usual heavier chains.
Bra & Singlet
The bra and singlet combine the black, turquoise and silver colour palette with decorative lace-up panels and rhinestone detailing.
The lacing continues through both the front and back of the top, helping the individual pieces feel like one complete outfit rather than separate items that just happen to match.
For me, the dark base gives the whole set a harder look, while the turquoise creates a sharp flash of colour and, having seen this outfit on TV, the rhinestone chain really catches the light as Maxxine moves.
Arm & Leg Sleeves
Matching lace-up detailing continues onto the arm sleeves, carrying the design across the whole body.
The leg sleeves feature a strong criss-cross pattern along with appliqué initials and more rhinestone detailing, giving the lower half of the outfit its own identity while still tying everything back to the bra and singlet.
It’s a detailed set, but underneath all of that decoration it still has to function as efficient women’s wrestling attire. The pieces need to stretch, stay in position and move naturally rather than fighting against her once the match starts.
Custom Blue Leopard Print Wrestling Outfit for Myla Grace
Next is something significantly less interested in behaving itself.
This custom blue leopard print set was created for pro wrestler Myla Grace and mixes metallic blue, blue leopard print, black faux leather, rhinestones, studs and plenty of metal chain.
Because sometimes more actually is more.
Blue Metallic & Leopard Print Bra
The bra top combines blue metallic fabric with blue leopard print and a black faux leather harness-style chest piece.
The harness structure gives the top a tough, aggressive shape, while silver studs and rhinestones bring in plenty of detail around the upper body.
And unlike the previous set, this time no shortage of proper heavy metal chain.
In fact, chains run through the entire design alongside the studs, rhinestones and leather-look sections, bringing movement and a heavier rock influence to the outfit.
Open-Side Lace-Up Booty Shorts
Matching booty shorts continue the blue metallic and leopard print combo, with additional flashes of black faux leather.
Open lace-up sides reveal more of the hips while also creating another strong visual detail around the waist and legs.
The wrestling trunks are positively dripping silver studs and rhinestones, continuing the finish of the top, with the contrasting blue textures helping stop the outfit becoming one flat block of colour.
Matching leg sleeves complete this particular piece of women’s wrestling kit, carrying the same colour palette down the body and turning the separate pieces into one very loud, very blue and very Myla Grace outfit.
Custom Red & Black Flame Wrestling Set for Zaria
I’ve made several sets for WWE's Zaria in the last 2 years, and this red and black flame design might be the fiercest yet.
It combines metallic red flames, matte black, rhinestones, black lacing, silver hardware and gunmetal chains.
There’s a lot going on. There usually is with this client :)
Red & Black Flame Bikini Top
The bikini-style top has a harness-inspired front with a choker neck strap, plus a second set of crossover straps designed to help keep the top secure during movement.
That extra security matters. Especially for a high-flying performer like Zaria.
A wrestling top might look spectacular standing still, but standing still isn't particularly high on the professional wrestling job description. Straps and fastening points have to be positioned with movement, impact and coverage in mind.
This design uses metallic red flames layered over matte black, creating a strong contrast between shine and flat texture.
Black and silver rhinestones run through the design, with black lacing across the bust, silver rivets and gunmetal chains adding the heavier My Little Halo detailing.
Matching Red & Black Lace-Up Pants
The matching pants take the flame pattern even further.
Metallic red flames run down the sides, layered against black and finished with more black and silver rhinestones.
The sides are dramatically opened up with lace-up panels, incorporating red faux leather detailing, silver eyelets and rivets.
The waistband itself fully opens at both sides and can be adjusted using snap fastenings, allowing the fit around the waist and hips to be fine-tuned rather than relying on one fixed measurement.
Around the back, matching flame-shaped pockets continue the design rather than treating the rear of this wrestling attire as an afterthought.
A lace-up fly, belt loops, metal rings and gunmetal chains finish everything off.
These may be a heavily detailed pair of wrestling pants, but every decorative element still has to work alongside stretch, movement and fit. That’s the difference between running up something that simply looks badass and creating something that can actually be wrestled in.

Custom Black & Gold Wrestling Set for Mara Sadé
This final outfit is a bespoke black and metallic gold custom set I made for Mara Sadé.
The colour palette may be simpler than some of the other sets on this page, but the dramatic combination of gold metallic fabric, black detailing, studs, chains, lacing and fringe gives it plenty of texture.
Gold Studded Choker-Neck Bra
The top is a custom gold choker-neck style bra with a lace-up front.
Studded detailing gives the metallic gold a harder finish, while silver chains introduce some movement and contrast against the warmer gold.
The neckline actually creates a strong harness-like shape around the upper body and makes the choker feel like an integral part of the top rather than an accessory.
Black & Gold Arm Bands
Matching black and gold bands continue the design onto the arms.
Adjustable snap fastenings allow the fit to be altered, which is particularly useful with performance pieces where something that looks perfectly fitted still needs enough freedom to move.
Black & Gold Open-Side Lace-Up Pants
And then there are the pants.
The sides are opened up with large lace-up sections designed to reveal plenty of skin around the hips, with black faux suede fringe tassels running between the eyelets.
Having seen these pants in action, I love that the fringe brings a completely different type of movement to the outfit. Instead of sparkle alone, you get texture that physically moves in sync with Mara.
Metallic gold overlays sit across the black base, with black studded detailing used throughout.
Matching gold overlays and back pockets carry the design around the entire garment.
The faux leather waistband is adjustable using snap fastenings at the hips, helping control the fit, while the front is finished with a heavily detailed studded lace-up fly.
Black, gold, fringe, lacing, studs and metallic shine. Quite restrained by My Little Halo standards, really. But perfect for their owner’s strong and assertive character.
Custom Women’s Pro Wrestling Gear Made Properly
Having professional athletes trust me to create the custom wrestling attire they wear in the ring matters enormously to me, particularly when that gear is being worn by performers working at the very highest levels.
They need to know it isn't just going to look good on Insta. It has to perform. To standards most sportswear could only ever dream of.
Every bespoke wrestling outfit I make is designed around the owner, their measurements, their character and the way the outfit will actually be used. I think about where straps sit, how fabric stretches, how much adjustment is needed, how the garment covers the body and where chains, studs, rhinestones and other details can safely be incorporated.
Because professional wrestling has a reliable tendency of finding weaknesses in clothing.
My Little Halo custom women's pro wrestling gear is handmade, heavily detailed and completely individual. I don't want to make generic wrestling costumes. I want to create wrestling gear that feels like it belongs to the person wearing it - even if it’s one of my pre-made outfits.
Something recognisable.
