The Pink & Cheetah Print Drop - Cheetah Print Lace Up Pants & Much More
This drop was all about a baby pink colour story with bold animal prints, fringe, studs and lace-up detailing. I loved combining leopard and cheetah print scuba fabrics with the baby pink version of my go-to metallic spandex, and the result was one of those releases that turned heads the second it went live.
Candy Pink & Cheetah Print Studded Skinny Pants
The low-waisted collaged skinny pants were built from candy pink metallic spandex and cheetah print scuba, layered with fishnet and lace, then finished with plenty of silver rivets and chains. They were one of the most detailed pieces in the set, and the texture mix really made the pink and cheetah print theme pop.
Cheetah Print Lace Up Pants
These were the heroes of the drop. I made a couple of front lace-up styles, including cheetah print lace up pants with pink faux leather, pink lacing and cheetah print accents. They were low-waisted with a soft stretch scuba waistband that had more give than my usual faux leather waistbands, making them extra comfortable and more flexible on sizing.
Fringed Pink & Cheetah Print Shorts
The high-waisted hotpants/shorts came in baby pink with cheetah accents, silver chains and baby pink faux suede fringe. They also used a soft pink scuba waist for comfort, so they sat securely without feeling stiff.
Baby Pink & Cheetah Print Lace-Up Vest
This vest is a favourite cut for a reason. The pointed front shape is consistently flattering, and this version combined a cheetah print scuba upper with pink faux leather and cone rivets, finished with a small pink lace-up detail on the bust.
Baby Pink & Cheetah Print Jumpsuit
To round out the collection, I made a jumpsuit/catsuit using the same pink spandex and cheetah print combination. It featured an open mid-back, fringed knees, a peephole neckline and front chain detailing, finished with a choker-style halter strap and silver rivets.
